Why is the Simply Music method so effective? It is a very natural way of learning that comes more easily than having to first depend on reading notes to play.
"Expecting students to read music before they've learned how to play is like expecting childen to read and spell before they've learned how to talk."
-Neil Moore, Simply Music founder.
This method is one that results in a very well rounded musician. Music reading is very important and we have a very gradual and natural way of introducing this after having 30- 50 songs in their repertoire (about a year). But we also realize that there are many other aspects to playing that are important to music too. In this program students will learn accompaniment, improvisation, composition, arrangement, structure, and theory.
